Requirement to functional part, faster.

ConceptWorks combines engineering and advanced additive manufacturing for defense, aerospace, robotics and industrial applications. We define the part, design it for the process, select the material and produce it, from first prototype to medium-volume series.

Engineering and manufacturing, carried by one team.

The engineering decides what gets built. Manufacturing capability decides how fast and how well. We hold both, so a design does not change hands before it becomes hardware.

Scan it, rebuild it, make it.

We capture existing parts and the geometry around them in 3D, then use the data to reverse-engineer, design new parts against real surfaces, or check finished parts against their model.

From one part to a recurring series.

Additive manufacturing is strongest where tooling would be slow or uneconomic. We cover the range from first prototype to medium-volume supply, and say clearly when another process becomes the better route.

Stage 1

Prototype

Single functional parts in the intended material, to prove the concept.

Stage 2

Iteration

Revisions driven by fit, function and test results until the design converges.

Stage 3

Low volume

Pilot runs and bridge production while the product is still changing.

Stage 4

Medium volume

Scheduled batches for recurring supply, with process settings fixed from validation.

Beyond our scope

Mass production

When volumes justify tooling, we say so and help prepare the transition to molding, casting or machining.

We develop our own technology too.

Client work is one half of ConceptWorks. The other half is internal development. Our R&D program applies the same materials, structures and engineering we offer to autonomous systems, and puts our methods to work on hardware we are fully responsible for.

Engineering-led. Digitally manufactured.

ConceptWorks is an engineering and advanced additive manufacturing company based in Athens, Greece.

Each project starts with what a component has to do, then works back to geometry, material and process. Additive manufacturing gives us design freedom; engineering decides how to use it.

Alongside client work we develop our own technology. Internal R&D keeps our design, materials and production methods tested on hardware we are responsible for from end to end.

  • Engineering-led manufacturingThe requirement drives the process, never the reverse.
  • Design freedom, used with disciplineComplex geometry where it earns its place.
  • Rapid iterationPhysical parts early, revised against measured results.
  • Materials as a design variablePolymers, composites and metals chosen per load case.
  • Digital manufacturingOne digital thread from first file to spare part.
  • Internal technologyOur own R&D programs alongside client solutions.

Why work with ConceptWorks

Engineering first

We start from what the part has to do.

Loads, interfaces, environment and quantity are defined before a process is chosen. The process is then selected to serve that requirement.

One path to hardware

Requirement, design, prototype and series stay with one team.

No hand-over between a design office and a print bureau. The engineers who define the part also produce it, so intent is carried into every revision.

Materials, design and process together

Geometry is drawn for the material and the machine that will build it.

Material selection is part of the design, so stiffness, temperature and mass targets are met by intent rather than by trial.

Speed on non-standard problems

Short loops on parts that don’t fit a catalogue.

Direct engineering contact, quick physical iterations and a willingness to work on problems that have no standard answer.

Bring us the difficult part.

Describe the requirement, the constraints and where the project stands. Every enquiry is reviewed by an engineer, who replies directly.
